Here we are again with news - GOOD NEWS but also important news...
Many of you have asked us about the current situation in Vietnam. Well, the numbers of infections is quite stable but life has slowed down much - as everywhere. We hear that people hardly leave the house and try to stay home most of the time. As for the vaccine it is going very slowly, step by step...Our work in Vietnam has been affected due to the travel restrictions, lockdowns and international and local complications but we still manage to do some GOOD NEWS:
We supported a school for Ethnic Minority Children: The Thien An Kindergarten & School, located in a poor & remote village in the Highlands of North Vietnam. Very much needed were single desks - a new regulation due to Covid - as well as beds, medicine, clothing but also toys.
We would like to share with you the letter we received from Sister Lan. For those who speak Vietnamese, we also have attached the original Vietnamese version & of course some pictures.
